Big Fish offers a full complement of catalog production services for printed or cd-rom based catalogs. We specialize in full catalog production of books and manuals that are data intensive with complex layouts containing many graphics and product photos. We have over twenty years experience in creating directories, automotive, and industrial catalogs from existing printed books or from product databases. Our services include:

Case Histories:

Modine Catalog Production

Five hundred plus page catalog typeset from customer furnished data files. All data was converted from Excel data files to a usable merge format. We developed a merge layout for each of three sections containing complex table data formatting. A separate merge layout for the graphics was created for each of the three sections as well. All data and images were merged and checked for accuracy.

Our first year on the project took us two weeks to have print ready files. The client's previous vendor took over twelve weeks to complete catalog production.

Quartermaster Catalog Production

Customer furnished products for photography. The catalog production began with all products being shot and retouched and composed into kits or different layouts with drop shadows added as needed. Pages were manually assembled using the QuarkXpress publishing application. The finished catalog contained several hundred photographs and multiple design layouts. The final print ready catalog pages were sent to the printer for final print production.
